The historic St. George Theatre, nestled in the St. George neighborhood of Staten Island is a 1900-seat non-profit theatre that plays host to a wide variety of headline and community events.  Opened in 1929 as a lavish movie palace and vaudeville theatre, the theatre boasts beautiful Spanish/Italian baroque style paintings, chandeliers, stained glass windows, grand staircases, an incredible dome, and one of the largest cantilevered balconies ever built. Past headline performers include Ringo Starr, Tony Bennett, Diana Ross, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Jason Mraz, The Jonas Brothers, Carol Burnett, Joan Rivers, Jackson Browne, Cheap Trick, Yes, Smokey Robinson, and more.
